FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville Technical Community College has received a $10,000 grant to construct an on-campus center for veterans.

The grant, given by the Student Veterans of America and The Home Depot Foundation through the VetCenter Initiative, will allow Fayetteville Tech to create a resource center to help student veterans.

"We know that for student veterans, having a comfortable home-like place to go on campus can make a significant difference in their success," said Heather Pritchard, senior manager of The Home Depot Foundation, in a statement.
