MORRISVILLE, N.C. — Low-cost carrier Frontier Airlines is adding two destinations from the Raleigh-Durham International Airport, beginning in July.

Frontier will operate flights from RDU to Detroit Metropolitan Airport and Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport. To celebrate these new routes, Frontier is offering special introductory fares as low as $49 available on its website.

“The greater Raleigh and Durham communities continue to respond well to our low-fares-done-right philosophy,” Josh Flyr, vice president of network planning and revenue for Frontier, said in a statement. “We are proud to grow our commitment and bring even more low fares to the area with now 20 non-stop, low-fare destinations. We appreciate the continued support of the airport and the community and are proud to serve RDU."

Frontier will now offer 20 nonstop destinations from RDU.
