Where were you? Teaching students with multiple disabilities

My asst. recieved a call and we turned on the tv. The adult saw what happened, not the students. We were told immeditetly to turn off all TV's It was my mother's birthday who passed away in May. I was already grieving and the attack on our country just enhanced it.

I am so thankful for knowing how planes are so protected and knowing that the United States is has stopped so many other attacks. I was very worried about my grown children having to fly home on 9/11. I am no longer concerned. Our wonderful country has but many cautions into place and I am greatful for that.
