Silver Alert

— Friends and family of a missing Franklin County man are posting signs and handing out fliers, hoping for clues to his disappearance.

Roger Wade Ayscue, 40, is the subject of a Silver Alert issued on Friday afternoon. According to the flier, though, he hasn't been seen since the middle of July.

Ayscue is a white man with blond hair and blue eyes. He is 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing about 197 pounds. According to the flier, he goes by the nickname "Kojak."

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office, which requested the Silver Alert, said he was last seen at 290 Collie Road in Castalia. Anyone with information about Ayscue's whereabouts is asked to call 919-496-2511.
