French bulldog elected as new town mayor
In a "ruff" political climate, a Kentucky town gets a doggone good new mayor.
in Kentucky, politics has gone to the dogs, particularly in one small town where a small dog was just elected mayor. No, really, Wilbur, the French bulldog, is the newly elected mayor of Rabbit Hash Kentucky. The bullish bulldog ran a dog gone dog campaign, edging out a fierce field of renowned rivals that included Smokey the Rooster and Stella The Fat Cat. The town has reportedly elected a dog mayor every four years since the 19 nineties, with residents casting their vote by donating to the local historical society. Wilbur will follow in the four legged footsteps of his predecessor, former Mayor Brennan Paul Tro. No word on Mayor Wilbur's first order of business, maybe marking his territory. But one thing's for sure. He'll need to govern with equal parts bark and bite, especially in a political climate. That's this rough. A pair of regional rivals found common ground thanks to a motorist severe lapse in judgment while transporting a snowmobile in Wisconsin. Wisconsin state police cited the driver, who had Minnesota plates and then looped, and officials from the Minnesota State Patrol on Facebook for their take. Their response was, we may not agree on everything, but we can agree this is a really bad idea or take a look at this. I'm Jeremy Roth
