FRANKLINTON, N.C. — Construction on a new high school in Franklin County high could be delayed due to current economic conditions.

School board members and county commissioners will discuss the construction time-line during a meeting at 6 p.m. Monday at 53 West River Road in Louisburg.

The school board hopes to break ground on the new Franklinton High School in March 2009 and begin operations 2011.
