Four wanted in Chapel Hill Circle K robbery

The Chatham County Sheriff's Office believes there is a link between the Dec. 23 robbery of a Circle K convenience store in Chapel Hill and similar crimes in surrounding communities.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — The Chatham County Sheriff’s Office believes there is a link between the Dec. 23 robbery of a Circle K convenience store in Chapel Hill and similar crimes in surrounding communities.

The sheriff's office released a surveillance photo from the Circle K at 11399 U.S. Highway 15-501 North showing four young men in hoodies with scarves over their faces. The men showed guns and demanded money in the early morning hours on Dec. 23, deputies said.

Authorities are asking that anyone with information about the robberies or the men in the photo call 919-542-2911.
