Four charged in shooting outside Wendy's in Carrboro

Four teenagers have been charged in a shooting that occurred outside a Wendy's earlier this month.

CARRBORO, N.C. — Four teenagers have been charged in a shooting that occurred outside a Wendy's earlier this month.

According to the Carrboro Police Department, the shooting took place on Aug. 2 at 100 South Greensboro St.

Four suspects, all between 16 and 17 years of age, have been charged with attempted first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, shooting into an occupied vehicle inflicting serious injury, shooting into an occupied vehicle and possession of a handgun by a minor.

The names of the suspects cannot be released due to their ages.
