Four charged in Cumberland Co. break-ins

According to the charges, the four broke into two homes on July 8, then tried to sell the electronics they took at a Hope Mills pawn shop.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Four men charged already jailed in Hoke County for break-ins saw Cumberland County pile on additional charges Wednesday.

According to the charges, the four broke into two homes on July 8, then tried to sell the electronics they took at a Hope Mills pawn shop.

All four are charged with breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering and possession of stolen goods.

The suspects are:

  • Vernon Allen Lucas, 30, of 5505 Dylan Court in Hope Mills
  • Brandon David Bunce, 24, of 6228 Lake Trail Drive in Fayetteville
  • Christopher David Leroy Jones, 19, of 2083 Baywater Drive in Fayetteville
  • Nathan Brandon Ivey, 24, no address given.
