RALEIGH, N.C. — Three 18-year-olds and a 16-year-old were arrested Friday after a fight at Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School, police spokesman Jim Sughrue confirmed Saturday.

Two male students and one female school administrator were injured in the fight, which broke out at about noon outside the school. According to Sughrue, the staff member was assaulted while trying to break up the altercation.

Daquan Wesly Hough, 18, of 1705 Tee Dee St., Raleigh; Darius Josiah Terrell Wright, 18, of 2705 Midway Park Court, Raleigh; Torrey Terrell Smith, 18, of 812 Elkhart Lane, Raleigh, and a 16-year-old were each charged with two counts of assault inflicting serious injury, two counts of ethnic intimidation and one count of assault on a school employee. Hough was also charged with inciting a riot.

Arrest warrants indicate that the administrator was hit with a closed fist and kicked while "protecting a student that was being relentlessly assaulted."
