Four-car crash temporarily closed part of Wade Avenue

— A crash closed part of Wade Avenue in both directions between between Capital Boulevard and Glenwood Avenue on Wednesday morning at around 7 a.m.

At least four cars were involved in the crash.

Only minor injures have been reported from the crash, according to officials.

As of 8:30 a.m., Wade Avenue has reopened in both directions.

A dense fog advisory is in effect until 10 a.m. for the Triangle. Visibility is down for a quarter of a mile or less in some areas, making for dangerous driving conditions. If you are out on the roads this morning, be careful.

The best alternate route for drivers in the area is through Peace Street or Hillsborough Street.
