— Rocky Mount police arrested four men after a fight erupted Friday among relatives of a couple going through a separation.

Police were called out to a disturbance at 108 Millennium Court around noon. An estranged couple was arguing about who got what property, police said, and when other relatives arrived, a fight ensued. Police had to call for back-up to break it up.

Police said Samuel Earl Henderson was the victim of the assault.

Officers charged the following people:

  • Christopher Lee Silver, 27, two counts of simple assault; $2,000 bond
  • Tremaine Elias Silver, 22, two counts of simple assault, one count of resisting arrest; $1,500 bond
  • William Earl Silver, 28, one count each of simple assault and resisting arrest; $1,000 bond

Larry Dean was also arrested on an outstanding warrant and given a $300 bond.

Christopher Silver and Tremaine Silver were both convicted of simple assault and assault on an officer in a Dec. 20, 2006, incident, according to state Department of Correction records. Both men were sentenced to probation, but Tremaine Silver later served a 2-month prison sentence after his probation was revoked.

DOC records show that Deans has convictions for possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a revoked license.
