Four adults and a child homeless after fire at Durham home
Firefighters were called to Bay Point Dr. around 6:30 p.m.

DURHAM, N.C. — A Durham home was heavily damaged by fire on Tuesday.
Firefighters were called to the 4700 block of Bay Point Drive around 6:30 p.m.
Fire officials reported heavy flames were coming from the right side of the single-story house.
Around 30 firefighters were able to get the fire under control in about 15 minutes.
There was heavy damage to the carport and a majority of the house.
Fire officials said the cause of the fire has not been determined yet.
No injuries from the fire were reported.
Four adults and a child were left homeless by the fire. The American Red Cross is helping them.
