Found safe: Silver Alert canceled for 14-year-old girl

Garner police have canceled a Silver Alert for asked for Hannah Katilyn Reed, 14.

GARNER, N.C. — Garner police have canceled a Silver Alert for asked for Hannah Katilyn Reed, 14.

The Garner Police Department confirmed Reed is back at home and safe.

Reed was believed to be with Trequan Jerome Alston, 23, a man with a lengthy criminal record.

Charges against Alston date to 2013 and include injury to personal and real property, larceny of a motor vehicle, resisting a public officer and breaking and entering. He was most recently arrested in July 2019 in Tarboro.

Alston is currently wanted on other charges, police said, and they believe he may pose a danger to Reed.

The pair were last seen on March 24 at 209 Bainbridge Circle.

Reed is black, about 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 135 pounds. She has long, dark hair and brown eyes.
