Forward Justice is a law, policy, and strategy center located in Durhamthat is dedicated to advancing racial, social, and economic justice in the South. It does so by partnering with organizations at the forefront of social movements in the southern region of the United States.
The center’s work catalyzes success for movements and expands opportunities for people affected by injustice through building a base of people and organizations; shifting narratives and values; and changing laws, policies, and practices.

Policy, law and strategy center Forward Justice is working to secure voting rights for citizens in the south who are most vulnerable to voter suppression. It is fighting against measures such as voter I.D. laws and felony disenfranchisement to give everyone an equal opportunity to participate in democracy.
