Forsyth County woman is looking for a new kidney
Ashley Bowman, a Forsyth county resident is looking for a new kidney after numerous life setbacks. Bowman is on the transplant list and in full-time dialysis. Despite what she's facing, she was determined to fulfill her dream.

FORSYTH COUNTY, N.C. — Ashley Bowman is often brought to tears when she talks about her life.
At 22, she got clean and decided to get her high school diploma. She enrolled in the Access Center - Adult High School, a partnership between Goodwill and Forsyth Tech.
However, personal relationships took her life in a crisis.
Bowman is currently on waiting on a kidney and heart after losing most of the function in both organs.
Bowman is on the transplant list and in full-time dialysis. Six years later, she came back to the Access Center to complete her diploma.
