Former Wilson County principal acquitted on porn charges

Ronald Earl Barringer was charged in March with eight counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor after authorities found images showing underage girls engaged in sexual activity on his computer.

WILSON, N.C. — A jury has acquitted a for Wilson County principal of charges that he had child pornography.

Ronald Earl Barringer was charged in March with eight counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor after authorities found images showing underage girls engaged in sexual activity on his computer.

Barringer was the principal of Springfield Middle School.
