Former teacher charged with molesting students at Christian school in Goldsboro

A former teacher at Faith Christian Academy in Goldsboro was charged Friday with molesting two girls at the school more than two decades ago, police said.

GOLDSBORO, N.C. — A former teacher at Faith Christian Academy in Goldsboro was charged Friday with molesting two girls at the school more than two decades ago, police said.

Anthony Warren Riley, 51, of Goldsboro, was charged with four counts of indecent liberties with a child and was released on a $50,000 unsecured bond.

A woman who was 11 years old in the mid-1990s went to police in June to report a sex assault at Faith Christian while she was a student there, police said. As police were investigating her allegation, they found another woman who was also 11 in the mid-1990s who made a similar allegation, police said.
