Kevin Lamont Umstead, 24, of 6021 Kelvin Drive, was arrested Friday night on Guess Road in Durham, authorities said.

<b>DURHAM, N.C.</b> — A former Orange County deputy is accused of drunken driving.

He was charged with DWI and resisting an officer, authorities said.

Umstead was released from the Durham County Jail on a $1,000 bond.
