Former chief of volunteer Fire Department died in crash on US Highway 70 in Goldsboro
A person has died in a wreck at the bypass of US Highway 70 Eastbound in Goldsboro.
Posted — UpdatedGOLDSBORO, N.C. — Former Chief of the New Hope Volunteer Fire Department died Thursday in a wreck at the bypass of US Highway 70 Eastbound in Goldsboro, according to officials.
Donald Gray of La Grange died in the accident. The wreck took place before 7 a.m. at mile marker 368.
One eastbound lane was blocked while officials respond to the scene of the accident.
No other details are available to the public at this time.
