RALEIGH, N.C. — A look at where you can find food trucks and events for foodies this month.
Wake Forest Food Truck Rodeo
This Sunday, food trucks will gather in at the Over The Falls shopping center at 405 S. Brooks Street for the Wake Forest Food Truck Rodeo. Many local food trucks that call Wake Forest and nearby communities will be there, so go support your neighbors! The event will take place from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Captain Poncho's opens another location
Since everyone is heading to the beach this summer, you will find a familiar name in Wilmington. Captain Poncho’s Tacos opened a second location at 417 College Road in Wilmington. Their other location is in Chapel Hill’s Southern Village.
Warehouse Blues in Durham Central Park
Last Friday started the 13th Annual Warehouse Blues Series at Durham Central Park. The event takes place every Friday evening in July with food trucks and live Blues concerts. This week’s concert includes Rissi Palmer with a powerhouse Blues vocal workshop afterwards. The event is free with food trucks, beer and wine available.
