— Police discovered early Sunday that someone had broken in to the Helping Hands Ministry and stolen food from the pantry.

Officers on patrol called firefighters to a dumpster fire next to the ministry at 136 Western Ave. around 3:30 a.m., police said. Crews put out the fire.

While checking the area, officers found that someone had broken in through the front door of Helping Hands ministry.

No suspects have been identified in the arson or break-in, police said.
