The Food Lion To Go grocery pick service is expanding in the Triangle including stores in Apex, Durham, Hillsborough, Garner and Raleigh!

The expanded service will begin on June 7, 2021 at the following Food Lion locations:

* 620 Laura Duncan Road, Apex, N.C. 27502

* 1777 W. Williams Street, Apex, N.C. 27523

* 4711 Hope Valley Rd., Durham, N.C. 27707

* 3808 Guess Rd., Durham, N.C. 27705

* 217 Timber Drive West, Garner, N.C. 27529

* 106 Rebecca Drive, Hillsborough, N.C. 27278

* 517 North Main St., Raleigh, N.C. 27526

* 12345 Strickland Road, Raleigh, N.C. 27613

Over 30 additional Food Lion stores in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia will begin offering the To Go option starting June 7.

According to a statement from the company, "Customers can confirm availability and place orders through the Food Lion To Go website or the Food Lion To Go app. With just the click of a button, shoppers can place an order and pick up their groceries on the same day and experience the same low prices and fresh food items they have come to expect without having to ever enter the store."

If you link your personal Food Lion MVP savings loyalty card to your account, you'll also be able to use digital coupons and redeem your “Shop & Earn” MVP rewards program savings.

“Continuing to expand this service to more Food Lion stores is important to us and our customers,” said Evan Harding, director of digital and e-commerce at Food Lion. “We want to give our neighbors the option to shop through the channel they prefer, in-store or online, while still ensuring they have access to fresh groceries at affordable prices.”

How Food Lion To Go Works:

* Visit shop.foodlion.com or open the Food Lion To Go app.

* Enter your zip code and select the closest participating store.

* Add fresh groceries and everyday essentials to your virtual cart.

* Choose a pickup window (same day or up to seven days in advance) and check out.

* A To Go shopper picks, packs and stores the order until you arrive, then loads it in your car.

* Food Lion To Go is available seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
