Food Lion deals 3/14 - 3/20

Food Lion is doubling coupons again for a second week. They also have another 3-day sale. You'll find decent deals this week on cabbage, carrots, strawberries, oranges, Activia, and Coke 2 liters (if you buy 4 at once).

Food Lion is doubling coupons again for a second week in the Triangle and Fayetteville area stores. They also have another 3-day sale. You'll find decent deals this week on cabbage, carrots, strawberries, oranges, Activia, and Coke 2 liters (if you buy 4 at once).  Read below for the coupon policies. Please share if you find any great deals!

 

Coupon policy during Food Lion Double Coupon Event:
*Food Lion will double coupons with a face value of .99 or less. This means that 75-cent coupons will double to $1.50 and 50-cent coupons will double to $1.00.
*Coupons will double up to the cost of the item. They will not give overage.
*You can double up to 20 coupons per day.
*The maximum number of identical coupons you can double appears to be 20, according to the media representative with whom I spoke. This means that if you have 10 of the same coupon, you can buy 10 of the required product indicated on the coupon and all 10 coupons should double (as long as the coupons are .99 or less face value).
*The coupons from the in-store coupon kiosk will not double.

* BOGO items ring up at half price so if you only buy 1, it rings at half price. You can use a coupon on each BOGO sale item.

E-Coupons: You can now load RedPlum.com manufacturer’s coupons to your Food Lion MVP card and when they scan your card at the register and you buy the qualifying items, the discount will come off automatically. I spoke with corporate and they confirmed that these are manufacturer’s coupons and not to be combined with hard copy manufacturer’s from the newspaper and other sources. She said their policy is only coupon per product. No e-coupons will double. Click HERE for more information.

Ruffles potato chips, 8.5 – 10 oz 2 for $4 - .55 coupon from 2/26 Pepsi insert (expires 3/17) = .90 if coupon doubles (indicates Do Not Double on coupon)

All Detergent, 50 oz., $3.49 - $1 coupon from 3 /4 RP = $2.49

Brawny paper towels, 6 – 8 rolls $5.99 - $1/2 coupon from 3 /4 RP

Quilted Northern bath tissue, 12 double or 9 mega rolls, $5.99

Meow Mix cat food, 18 lb, $8.99 - .75/1 coupon from 3/11 RP = $7.49

There is also a $1 coupon from 2/19 but it’s a better deal with the .75 coupon doubled)
