Florida woman struck, killed by vehicle after walking onto I-95 near Rocky Mount
A Florida woman died Friday morning on Interstate 95 after walking into traffic while suffering a medical emergency.

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — A Florida woman died Friday morning on Interstate 95 near Rocky Mount after walking into the roadway while suffering a medical emergency.
Troopers with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol said Rebecca Brown Morley was riding in a vehicle driven by William Robert Morley when she had a medical problem. William Morley stopped the car on the northbound side of I-95, and Rebecca Morley got out.
Troopers said she walked to the front of the vehicle and crossed the interstate to get to the median. Rebecca Morley was struck and killed by a vehicle driven by Stacy Morick, of Florida.
No charges have been filed in the incident.
