Florence + the Machine will make a stop in Raleigh this summer as part of their newly-announced North America tour in support of their newest album, "High as Hope."

RALEIGH, N.C. — Florence + the Machine will make a stop in Raleigh this summer as part of their newly-announced North America tour in support of their newest album, "High as Hope."

The 17-date run kicks off in Santa Barbara, Calif., on May 12. The tour stops at Raleigh's Coastal Credit Union Park at Walnut Creek on Wednesday, June 5.

In Raleigh, Florence + the Machine will be joined by Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats.

Tickets for the tour will go on sale to the general public on Friday, Feb. 8, at 11 a.m.

Florence + the Machine is an English indie rock band that formed in London in 2007, consisting of vocalist Florence Welch, keyboardist Isabella Summers and a collaboration of other musicians.

The band's debut album was released in 2009.
