RALEIGH, N.C. — An east Raleigh restaurant was the scene of several stabbings and a shooting within a 24-hour window, according to Raleigh police.

Early Sunday at 1:30 a.m., police responded to a stabbing at Star Bar, located at 1731 Trawick Road. Four female victims cut during a fight inside were transported to WakeMed, where they were treated for minor injuries.

On Monday just after midnight, police responded to a shooting at the location. One man was shot and was in critical condition, police said.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call Raleigh Crime Stoppers at 919-834-HELP or visit raleighcrimestoppers.org for text and email reporting options.

A City of Raleigh spokeswoman said Monday that police and agents with the state Alcohol Law Enforcement were looking into "all circumstances that contributed to the weekend violence. ... The investigation includes activities occurring at Star Bar and whether those activities complied with applicable laws and restrictions."
