Five Chapel Hill-Carborro City Schools without bus drivers

Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools announced on Facebook Thursday morning that four of its bus routes impacting five schools will not have drivers.

Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools announced on Facebook Thursday morning that four of its bus routes impacting five schools will not have drivers.

The routes/numbers are:

โ€ข ๐—•๐˜‚๐˜€ ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿฒ: Rashkis Elementary, Culbreth Middle, Carrboro High

โ€ข ๐—•๐˜‚๐˜€ ๐Ÿฒ๐Ÿฒ: McDougle Elementary, Culbreth Middle, Carrboro High

โ€ข ๐—•๐˜‚๐˜€ ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿฏ: Smith Middle

โ€ข ๐—•๐˜‚๐˜€ ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿณ: Culbreth Middle, Carrboro High

The district is asking families to consider alternate travel arrangements for school in the morning. Families can also contact the district's transportation office at 919-942-5045 at 6:30 a.m. to arrange for a bus to pick up students as soon as one is available -- around 9 a.m. Students will not be considered โ€œtardyโ€ as a result of this.

If you would like to track the status of your studentโ€™s bus, please consider downloading the "Here Comes the Bus App" -- you will need your studentโ€™s school ID number and the District Code of 86446.
