Fit4Mom to offer prenatal workout classes at WakeMed North Campus

Fit4Mom Midtown Raleigh will start offering its prenatal fitness classes at WakeMed North Campus starting the week of July 7.

Classes will be offered at 6 p.m., Sundays and Thursdays, in six-week sessions. Expecting moms should get approval from their doctors or midwives before starting a new exercise program.

The program features workouts that are safe for all stages of pregnancy and fitness levels.

Classes, according to a description, are interval-based, combining elements of strength training, cardio and stretching/balancing exercises as well as deepening the connection between mom and baby.
