First Wegmans coming to new Midtown Raleigh Shopping Center

The first Wegmans scheduled to open in North Carolina will be located in the new Midtown East shopping center on Wake Forest Road in Raleigh.

The first Wegmans scheduled to open in North Carolina will be located in the new Midtown East shopping center on Wake Forest Road near the beltline in Raleigh.

The 120,000 square foot grocery store is one of four planned Wegmans for the Triangle. The other 3 stores include two in Cary and one in Chapel Hill.

The new Midtown East shopping center will include a 700 car parking deck and almost two dozen stores and restaurants. There are several new tenants already committed to the new center including Maple Street Biscuit Company, Cava, a Mediterranean restaurant, Club Pilates and Salon del Sol. The center is expected to open by late 2019.
