The Henderson County fire chief has released the identity of a man killed in a fire.

<b>HENDERSON, N.C.</b> — The Henderson County fire chief has released the identity of a man killed in a fire.

The blaze started at about 4 p.m. Friday at a house on Hickboro Road near Henderson.

Wilson Knot, 75, was killed in the fire. His wife, Nellie, was injured. She is recovering at Maria Parham Hospital.

The fire chief said the fire started in the kitchen and was accidental.
