Fire spreads to several cars on Durham street
Crews were responding after several cars caught fire Thursday afternoon in Durham.

DURHAM, N.C. — Crews were responding after several cars caught fire Thursday afternoon in Durham.
Authorities said the fire started at about 10:45 a.m. in a car parked at 217 South Holman Street. Firefighters said the flames spread to several nearby vehicles and a pile of debris, including motors, plastic and cardboard.
No injuries were reported and the fire did not impact any area buildings.
Authorities have not determined what sparked the initial fire.
