A fire ripped through a three-story house in Wake County near Garner Wednesday evening, authorities said.

GARNER, N.C. — A fire ripped through a three-story house in Wake County near Garner Wednesday evening, authorities said.
Fire crews in Wake and Johnston counties responded to 1352 Turner Farms Road shortly before 7 p.m., authorities said. They believe the family who lives at the house was out of town at the time of the blaze.
No one was injured, but the house is a 90 percent loss, said Garner Fire Chief Steve Williams.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
