Lee County High School was closed on Wednesday because of an anonymous threat made against the school. SanLee Middle School and Southern Lee High School also received threats Wednesday.

A fire ripped through a Fayetteville apartment building Sunday morning, displacing seven families.

<b>FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.</b> — A fire ripped through a Fayetteville apartment building Sunday morning, displacing seven families.

Red Cross spokesman Barry Porter said the fire destroyed seven apartments on Chason Ridge Road, off Skibo Road.

The Red Cross was helping the displaced families find shelter.

More details about the fire weren't available.
