Fire in attic causes damage to Raleigh home
Raleigh firefighters responded to a house fire on Friday that caused damage to the home.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh firefighters responded to a house fire on Friday that caused damage to the home.
The fire happened on Battleford Drive in Raleigh. Firefighters received the call at 3:45 p.m. and had the fire under control about 20 minutes after arriving.
The fire was found in the attic. Sky 5 was over the scene and you could see several holes in the home's roof from the fire.
Nobody was home at the time and nobody was injured. The cause of the fire was still under investigation Friday evening.
