Fire destroys farmstand on Holly Springs Road in Wake County

Raleigh, N.C. — An open-air farmers market was badly burned in an early-morning fire on Wednesday.
Firefighters responded to the small building at 8225 Holly Springs Road in Wake County around 2 a.m.
The market, owned by LL Urban Farms, caught fire and everything inside was destroyed.
The building itself is still standing.
Investigators are working to figure out a cause.
According to its website, LL Urban Farms is run by Johnston County-based L&G Farms. The farmstand sells Christmas trees, fresh produce grown on the farm and fresh seafood Surf City.
