FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A fire destroyed an outbuilding early Saturday morning at Fayetteville's Myers Recreation Center, fire officials said.

Fire crews were called to the center located at 1018 Rochester Dr. around 3 a.m. Responding units found a "moderate sized" outbuilding that was on fire.

Fayetteville fire officials said the building contained bathrooms and storage space.

Authorities did not believe the building was occupied at the time, but the building was destroyed.

No injuries were reported.
