Fire damages Rocky Mount duplexes

Rocky Mount, N.C. — An early morning fire damaged two vacant duplexes along the 500 block of Ravenwood Drive Sunday, police said.

Flames had fully engulfed the buildings when firefighters arrived, police said. Crews extinguished the blaze, and no one was injured.

Fire investigators are looking into the cause of the blaze.
