Fire damages Fayetteville home

A home on Fleetwood Drive in Fayetteville caught fire Friday morning, authorities said. No one was injured.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A home on Fleetwood Drive in Fayetteville caught fire Friday morning, authorities said. No one was injured.

Firefighters brought the blaze under control within 30 minutes, authorities said. 

The Red Cross is assisting the displaced residents of 935 Fleetwood Drive, off Commerce Street. No one was home at the time, though.

The single-story house has extensive fire and smoke damage, fire officials said. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
