Durham, N.C. — Two people were injured from a fire that broke out at a Durham home late Thursday night.
Nearly 40 firefighters responded to the fire at the 1400 block of Gunter Street and put the fire out in 10 minutes.
One of the residents suffered burns from the fire and another had to be treated for smoke inhalation. Two of the residents of the home were transported to Duke Hospital and both are in stable condition, according to officials.
Officials said that there is smoke damage to the house. As a result, all three people who lived in the home are now displaced.
