GARNER, N.C. — Fire crews in Johnston County were battling a house fire on Foxglove Drive Friday night.

The Johnston County Sheriff's Office said the call came in at about 5:17 p.m.

Johnston County Sheriff Steve Bizzell told WRAL News the incident began as a domestic dispute.

Neighbors reported seeing a man outside with a gun before the fire.

When deputies arrived on scene the man went back inside the 2-story home at 160 Foxglove Drive, and a short time later the fire started.

The Sheriff's office said the fire completely destroyed the home.

Deputies said they did not see anyone come out of the house, and no one else was home at the time of the fire.

The Johnston County sheriff said Saturday a body was found inside the home, although it has not been identified yet.
