Fire at Durham home leaves family displaced
A fire at a home in Durham left a family displaced Thursday night.

DURHAM, N.C. — A fire at a home in Durham left a family displaced Thursday night.
The Durham Fire Department responded around 9:20 p.m. to the 700 block of Chandler Road in Durham, which is in the eastern part of the city. Officials said an adult and four children live in the home, which sustained damage to about half of it.
It took about 23 firefighters working for about 10 minutes to put the fire out. The Red Cross was assisting the family, which had to find a place to stay for the night. There were no injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
