RALEIGH, N.C. — With gas prices rising fast, every cent counts, and finding the cheapest gas is just a tap away on your phone.

Thanks to GPS and crowdsourcing, it's now easier than ever to find cheap gas prices on the road. Here are three apps that could save you some money.

Gas Buddy

Gas Buddy is a popular app to find low prices because it's easy to use and navigate. Users just search by their city, state or or code to get gas price information.

Gas Buddy users -- and there are a lot of them -- enter the information about gas prices, and updates are usually pretty fresh. There's even a heat map to help users find prices across the U.S. and Canada.

Apple's stock is as red as the newest version of the iPhone 8.
Gas Buddy is free for iOS and Android.

Gas Guru

Gas Guru's big buttons and large fonts give it a simple, easy-to-read interface -- and it also gives users prices and which services gas stations offer, like automatic car washes. Gas Guru can also provide directions to gas stations.

The app is free for iOS and Android.

I Exit Gas

Users who are hitting the interstate may want to check out I Exit Gas, which finds gas stations near upcoming exits and tells users how far they are from their current location. I Exit gas also provides a map of each exit, making it a little easier to navigate new areas. It's available for 99 cents in the Apple App Store.
