Alex Rasheed Gibson, 18, of 618 Danielle Drive in Greenville, was charged with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of robbery with a dangerous weapon.
Quantellis Carr, 33, and his girlfriend, Jasmine Chesson, 31, were shot and killed inside their Princeville home on March 18. None of their five children was home at the time.
Princeville police charged Antwan Andre Anthony, 29, of 3729 Moore Drive in Bethel, and Willie Whitehead, 23, of 101 Devonshire Drive in Pinetops, on Sunday with the same crimes.
Ray Shasteen, 20, of 4674 Toddy Road in Farmville, and Ronnell Joyner, 20, of 4148 Corbett Circle in Farmville, were charged Sunday as accessories after the fact of murder. Investigators allege that they helped hide the gun used in the shootings.
"You didn't give life. How could you take a life?" Carr's sister, Chemere Carr, wondered aloud on Wednesday.
Even two months after the shootings, she said, she has no idea why her brother and his girlfriend were killed. She said she plans to attend the court appearances for all five suspects on Thursday to try to get some answers.
"I want to face the people who did this. I want to see their faces up close and personal," Chemere Carr said. "It's just like my whole life has changed."
Anthony and Whitehead are also charged with killing three people during an armed robbery of a Farmville convenience store on April 1.
Police there said the pair, along with Xavier Montel Shamble, 19, and an unidentified juvenile, killed Mokbel Mohamed "Sam" Almujanhi, 16, as he mopped the floor at the Hustle Mart, his father's convenience store. The owner's nephew, Nabil Nasser Saeed Al'mogannahi, 26, and a cousin, Gaber Alawi, 24, were also shot and killed.
