— A multi-faceted festival focused on Raleigh's diversity and creativity will take place Saturday at the sunflowers field at Dix Park.

The RaleighWRLD event runs from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Aug. 6. There will be live performances, a bookbag and infant formula drive, an upscale picnic, food trucks and vendors.

Headliners include Will Wildfire, Shame Gang and G Yamazawa. There will also be a selfie station and a kids section with music and crafts.

The festival is entrepreneur-focused, so paid childcare will be available while adults choose from workshops on business, mental health and estate planning.

The concert will wrap up the festival with other names like Shame Gang, Ty Harriz, DJ RNB, ForeverJabron, YK Raleigh and Teia Elaine.

"Through the festival, we hope to highlight and celebrate all that makes Raleigh special," said founder Judaea Morris. "From our innovative entrepreneurs, delectable food trucks, unique vendors, to amazing talent, the festival aims to make the City of Oaks the star of the show."

Tickets start at $45 for general admission and $10 for teens. Children under 13 can attend for free. VIP tickets are available for $100 and include access to a VIP lounge, merchandise, a dedicated bar and bathrooms, a concierge and a meet and greet with artists and special guests.
