The Food and Drug Administration approved the first at-home coronavirus test kit that can be purchased online without a prescription, made by LabCorp.

Anyone can use the self-administered nasal swab test at their home if they are over the age of 18, according to a press release from the FDA.
According to LabCorp's website, there is no upfront cost to receive its Pixel at-home testing kit.

"We can bill your insurance, utilize federal funds to cover the cost of this test on your behalf if you’re uninsured, or you can pay with a credit card," LabCorp's website says.

To pay out of pocket for the lab kit, it would cost nearly $120.

Once the lab receives a test, it should take one to 2 days for results to be delivered to a patient's healthcare provider, LabCorp's website says.
