FBI joins search for missing Gastonia boy

Gastonia, North Carolina — The FBI is involved in a search for a missing 6-year-old boy in Gaston County.
Maddox Ritch has Autism and is non-verbal.
Maddox disappeared Saturday in Rankin Lake Park in Gastonia, which is about 23 miles west of Charlotte.
Maddox Ritch is described as a white male with blonde hair and green eyes. He stands 4 feet tall and weighs about 45 pounds. He was last seen wearing black shorts and a shirt reading "I am the man."
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Gastonia Police Department at 1-704-866-3300.
