FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Authorities say a Fayetteville woman who disappeared Tuesday has been found.

The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office issued a news release Wednesday morning, asking for the public's help in finding Hilda Ann Solomon, 62.

Solomon went to vote Tuesday afternoon but never returned home. Family members and authorities were concerned because attempts to contact her on her cellphone were unsuccessful and because she is on medication that she did not have with her.

A sheriff's office spokeswoman said Solomon returned home Wednesday afternoon after realizing she had driven to Raeford.

She was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville to be evaluated.
