Fayetteville woman killed in auto crash
Fayetteville police Abigail Borgstadt, 21, was killed Friday afternoon in a crash.
Posted — UpdatedFAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police say a 21-year-old woman was killed Friday afternoon in a crash.
The wreck happened shortly before 3 p.m. near Cliffdale Road and Lynhurst Drive when a 2003 Pontiac van trying to turn left crashed into a 1996 Jeep.
Investigators say the van's driver, Clark McKinley, 53, failed to yield the right of way, hit the Jeep, causing it to cross the center line and roll over.
The Jeep's driver, Abigail Borgstadt, died.
McKinley, who was not injured, was charged with misdemeanor death by motor vehicle and failure to yield the right of way.
