Fayetteville woman, 63, dies after being struck by car

Fayetteville, N.C. — A 63-year-old woman has died after she was struck by a vehicle Wednesday night in Fayetteville.
Fayetteville police said they responded to a call at 6:47 p.m. on Campbell Avenue near Alfred Street. Officials said Jessica Durham, 63, of Lincoln Drive, was hit by a car and transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Durham was listed in critical condition Wednesday night and later died, police said Thursday.
Campbell Avenue was closed for approximately two hours while the Fayetteville Police Department’s Traffic Unit conducted the investigation. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
